About NYBSC

The NYBSC is an effective foundation for building a strong network between the multiple business school alumni groups with a presence in NYC.  This partnership allows all members, and in turn the members of each of our alumni clubs, to acquire benefits we would not be able to gain acting independently.  Our activities include:

  • Bi-monthly meetings, held in a convenient mid-town location
  • End of the year cocktail party
  • Hosting the All MBA soiree – an annual holiday party open to the members of all alumni clubs who participate in the NYBSC
  • Leading participation in other events that are open to all the chapters in the NYBSC

We convene bi-monthly meetings, held in a convenient mid-town location.  At each meeting is an opportunity to share best practices and learn from other chapters and schools about how to organize and manage a chapter.  Meetings are also an ideal time to partner with other chapters to plan future events together and develop other meaningful ways in which to increase the value of our respective chapters for the members., each participant invites the other schools to their programming events and we discuss topics that are relevant to the entire group.  Examples of topics that are discussed include:

  • Sponsorship arrangements from our respective universities
  • Club dues
  • Pricing for programming events
  • Program venues in NYC and pricing options
